Ten of Terry Swartzberg’s kippot are now on exhibition at the German government’s Museum of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bonn. Each kippa tells a story from Terry’s four decades of living in Germany. The 10 kippot form part of the “Search for a new homeland” exhibition at the Museum, which already has one of Terry’s kippot in its permanent collection – as recognition for Terry’s “civil courage”. Since December 1, 20212, Terry has been wearing a kippa in public.
